FileCloud Drive allows you to access all the files in your FileCloud server like you work with your files in Windows and Mac.  

If you encounter problems, use the following guide to help resolve your issue.


  • FileCloud Drive supports Windows 8+, it can be installed on Windows 7 computers, however, we do not provide support on it since the components used are no longer supported under Windows 7.
  • If Sophos Antivirus is installed, Drive application performance with large files (10MB+) is impacted.

 Where Are the Log Files?

In order to understand the issues, the first place to start is reviewing the log files.  

Log files are located at %APPDATA%/FileCloud Drive/data

 Why Are My Shortcuts Not Working?

There is a limitation to creating shortcuts to FileCloud Drive.  When a user reboots their PC shortcuts will cease to work.  The reason being that FileCloud Drive needs to build a path map to access your files and that map gets deleted when the PC reboots and it only gets recreated when navigating through the application.

Folder and file names cannot contain:
