Tonido Pro Business is an upgrade to the Tonido Desktop software or for the TonidoPlug which offers several additional features.
The following are the features:
- Customization and Personal Branding of the Tonido Web Pages
- Use your own domain name
- Use your own SSL certificate for your domain name
- 100 GB of sync storage
To get started with Tonido Pro Business,
- First login into the Tonido store (https://store.tonido.com) and purchase Tonido Pro Business
- Next login into your Tonido account and then click on "Applications" and then "App Store" and enter your store account information
- You can then follow the instructions to activate TonidoPro and then install WebsharePro
- After installation, download the Tonido Pro Business Package and copy the contents into the Tonido installation directory. The files should be
- config_pro.xml
- serverca.pem
- servercert.pem
- swcustomize.xml
- main.png
- webshare.png
- login.png
To customize Tonido Web Pages with your own logo
- Replace the main.png, webshare.png and login.png with your own logo or branding
- You will need to refresh the browser and/or clear the browser cache to see your new logo
- The logo dimensions should be the following:
To use your own domain name
- To use your own domain name. First disable Tonido Relay, and then setup your own DNS to point the IP address of the computer you are running Tonido on.
- Edit swcustomize.xml and change the CustomURL field to the value you want
- Restart Tonido
To use your own SSL certificate for your domain name
- Apply for and get a SSL certificate from a SSL provider like godaddy.com etc. Even though self signed SSL certificates will mostly work, they are not officially supported.
- Combine your private key (in PEM format) and the SSL certificate (in PEM format) into a single file named servercert.pem
- Disable Tonido Relay and enable Enable Non-Relay SSL. Restart Tonido.
- Open your site now using "https://<IPADDRESS: PORTNUMBER>
