Quality Assurance Engineer – Job ID: QAE2

CodeLathe (a US based company), is looking for a passionate QA Engineer to help do manual and automated testing of our software products. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and interested in figuring out how things work and then trying to come up with creative ways to see if it can be broken.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Manual and Automated test of CodeLathe’s products (FileCloud, Tonido) before release
  • Test CodeLathe’s products (FileCloud, Tonido) before release
  • Review requirements specifications and technical documents to provide feedback
  • Identify the test scenarios and write test plan documents based on functional requirements
  • Identify and document test cases based on the functional requirements
  • Identify, record and document thoroughly and track bugs using the issue tracking system
  • Set up and maintain test labs with multiple testing environments
  • Maintain the automated unit and system test cases
  • Reproduce reported customer problems to help developers troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors Engineering degree with 2 or more years of professional software testing experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Must be able to identify and write clear test scenarios, test plans and test cases from the requirements document
  • Must be proficient in Windows environment
  • Must have a working knowledge of Mobile devices with iOs and Android OS
  • Must be able to communicate with a diverse development team and product management
  • Must be available online from 8 am to 1 pm US Central Time
  • Having a basic working knowledge of Linux is a plus
  • Experience writing Unit Test, System Test or Load Test is a plus
  • Experience with performance or security testing is a plus
  • Experience with PHP is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and works with little or no supervision

Federal Account Executive – Job ID: FAE1

CodeLathe (an Austin, TX, USA based company), is looking for a driven and motivated Federal Account Executive to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has experience developing client relationships within the Federal Government space. The Federal Account Executive will be responsible for high impact projects and should be genuinely interested in helping customers find solutions to support their success. This role is remote and will require working remotely with other team members. FileCloud is the fastest-growing Enterprise File Share and Sync (EFSS) solution in the industry, with over one million users worldwide. Our products are used by many global 2000 and Fortune 500 companies and world-leading public sector organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle sales – prospecting, qualifying leads, explaining the value proposition, and closing the opportunities
  • Deliver product/sales demos to customers, provide technical answers, and recommend best practices to get maximum value out of FileCloud
  • Generate sales pipeline through warm/cold calls, referrals, free trials, events, and marketing-generated leads
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, solution architecture, and product management teams to achieve customer goals
  • Answer technical questions about software installation, deployment, and usage scenarios
  • Unearth customer pain points and bring insights to the product team
  • Use Salesforce for managing leads, opportunities, communication, and forecasting

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of field sales experience selling software to the Federal space, preferably U.S. DoD
  • Continuous meaningful, and demonstrable success in enterprise sales
  • Experience in consultative, enterprise solutions selling EFSS solutions or adjacent software to support infrastructure modernization, VDI, data synchronization, or similar
  • Ability to work in U.S. Central Time zone

JavaScript Developer – Job ID: JSD1

Our team builds cross-platform desktop applications based on Electron.js and C++ with deep system integrations, fast and reliable performance requirements. We are looking for a JavaScript desktop software engineer who will assist us with building a cross-platform desktop application that will allow our customers to share files and collaborate in a team right from their laptop and desktop computers. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and applications focused on Enterprise File Sharing, Sync, backup software and utilize your design skills and solid development skills experience. This role is remote and will require working remotely with other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Support desktop distribution efforts such as application installers and delta-based automatic updates
  • Develop, maintain and support software, including application interfaces, and new features
  • Develop Node.js native C++ add-ons and cross-platform JavaScript modules running on Windows, macOS, and GNU/Linux
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and help with the advancement of tools and processes
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of software development experience with large scale projects
  • Strong experience with Javascript and or typescript in NodeJS or Web
  • Comfortable developing software for Windows, Linux, and macOS
  • Strong knowledge of Web Technologies including HTTP protocol, XML, REST APIs
  • Strong understanding of server-client architecture
  • Comfortable with Git version control system
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks while working independently or as part of the team
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with C#, Swift, Object-C and Xamarin
  • Having experience and being excited about working with distributed teams
  • Experience working with databases and filesystems is highly desired
  • Experience developing large scale cross-platform desktop application
  • Experience working on the low-level Windows, macOS, and Linux APIs
  • Comfortable working with CI/CD systems, Docker, and Jenkin
