Quality Assurance Engineer – Job ID: QAE2

CodeLathe (a US based company), is looking for a passionate QA Engineer to help do manual and automated testing of our software products. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and interested in figuring out how things work and then trying to come up with creative ways to see if it can be broken.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Manual and Automated test of CodeLathe’s products (FileCloud, Tonido) before release
  • Test CodeLathe’s products (FileCloud, Tonido) before release
  • Review requirements specifications and technical documents to provide feedback
  • Identify the test scenarios and write test plan documents based on functional requirements
  • Identify and document test cases based on the functional requirements
  • Identify, record and document thoroughly and track bugs using the issue tracking system
  • Set up and maintain test labs with multiple testing environments
  • Maintain the automated unit and system test cases
  • Reproduce reported customer problems to help developers troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors Engineering degree with 2 or more years of professional software testing experience is required

Technical Support and Sales Engineer (United States) – Job ID: TSE2

CodeLathe, (an Austin, TX, USA based company) is looking for a passionate remote technical support/sales engineer to provide technical support and sales demos for our customer base around the world. This is a remote-job position and will require working remotely with other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer technical questions about software installation, deployment and usage scenarios
  • Perform product/sales demo to customers

Digital Content Specialist – Job ID:DCS1

CodeLathe (an Austin, TX, USA based company), is looking for an experienced content creator who can clearly communicate technical information and industry trends through various forms of engaging digital content. As our digital content specialist, you will have the opportunity to create high-quality, meaningful work that not only shines light on Codelathe’s products and brand stories but also starts conversations about current events and trends that matter.  We want a highly creative, self-driven person who is equally comfortable collaborating with engineers, marketers, and customers and working independently. You must have proven experience writing for different audiences, channels, mediums, as well as tracking content performance. And you must have a strong desire to test content to determine what resonates, plus the ability to adjust accordingly. Long and short-form video creation experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread copy for web pages, blog posts, emails, ads, and social media posts. 
  • Conceptualize and create content across mediums such as print, long and short-form video (YouTube videos and TikToks), and more.  
  • Interview product teams and possibly customers to research and write whitepapers and case studies. 
  • Brainstorm ideas and develop new content in collaboration with teammates both in and outside the content marketing team.  
  • Work with the marketing team to track analytics and boost content engagement.

Accounting Administrator (Accountant) 

CodeLathe is a strong people-focused software startup based out of Austin. We are looking for a skilled accountant and bookkeeper. We are a globally distributed team with a very diverse set of people so you must be comfortable engaging with remote team members. In this position, you will generally be responsible for all things finance-related including keeping accurate company financial records through bookkeeping in QuickBooks and performing a full range of day-to-day accounting duties that include managing multi-state payroll, A/P, A/R, and monitoring incoming wires and checks. In this position, you will work closely with the senior management. The right person will have potentially a long term career and job growth as they progress with the company. You might also be a backup for our HR Administrator and will have an opportunity to learn how a business runs and help it grow to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day accounting duties: A/R, A/P, Payroll, journal entries
